George Stephen "Steve"  Woolls
George Stephen “Steve” Woolls Jr., 71 of Stafford passed away at Mary Washington Hospital on Wednesday April 21, 2016. Steve was born on July 26, 1944 to George S and Virginia Elizabeth (Barnes) Woolls in Alexandria, VA. He married Nancy Jane Blevins on August 23, 1986 and she preceded him in death by two days. They loved each other so much, that the family says that Steve died of a broken heart, after losing the love of his life. Steve was a branch manager for Potomac AirGas in Alexandria..
Survivors include his son Michael; two step-sons; Austin Petitt (Susan), Robert Petitt (Jill); brother James Woolls (Karen); sister Evelyn Carlyle (Jim); five grandchildren; Alexander, Samantha Krause (Brandon), Torie, Charlie, Robbie; and two great grandchildren, Kayden and Zachary.
Combined services for Steve and his beloved wife, Nancy, will be held on Saturday April 23, 2016 with visitation beginning at noon followed by the services at 2 p.m. with pastor Amos Healy officiating, at Laurel Hill Funeral Home. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org
