Condolence: Just heard about Steve's passing. I served as the manager/booking agent for Steve's band Summit back in the 1980s - and enjoyed many an evening of bluegrass and Steve's jokes - we have been out of touch for quite a while - but wanted to send condolences and let you know that many folks in the music world have fine and fun memories of Steve....

Condolence: My dearest Aggie, as you know our closeness has deepened since you became Floridians. The fun times that we've all shared will no longer be the same without "Deve" . (Deve, became Stephen's "label" from the time your little grand-babies could not pronounce Steve; it caught on for all of us!) We will truly miss the get to gathers to watch the Redskins play??? (I guess that's what you call what they do) holidays celebrated together or just a pool party...or a meal out in one of our favorite restaurants. Our grandchildren loved playing and swimming at your house. Stephen became such an integral part of our lives together, his quick sense of humor, his gestures and laughter will be sorely missed. My heart broke when Stephen moved on to his after life where we'll meet again some day; his departure was serenaded with the Bluegrass music he loved so much in his room. His talent has moved on and he'll be strumming in heaven above. God bless you both. Diane & Ron Ellison
