A smile that was contagious

What do I say about Jason? I was blessed to work with him for many years at RedRobin. He was one of the kindest ,caring person you could ever meet. I always looked forward to working with him and just getting to talk with him. No matter what was going on in his life he was always a pleasure to be around . Always willing to listen and help if he could. Having my children grow up in the restaurant and around him , he always made a safe place for them to be and work. I can honestly say I'm a better person for having him in my life. He also marks one of the saddest days of my life. Even though we were happy for him when they made him a GM . We also new that ment he would be leaving us. I could never thank him enough for all the times he kept Larry company ,chatting about all kinds of different things with him while I would be doing closing duties. Jason was the type that even if you didn't see him for a while when you did you just picked up the conversation like it was yesterday. I'm sorry we let time and life slip by us. I will never forget and forever be greatful for him letting us come visit him the Sunday before he passed. Though his body was tired and weak he managed one of those beautiful smiles he had shared so many times with my family and I . That's how I will remember him. Full of life, love and a givers heart. I know I will see him again when God calls me home and I'm sure when I see him we will pick up right ware we left off . A hug and a smile.
